About Summer Reading
Summer reading logs start June 1st and go through July 31st. Prizes to be awarded in August!
Summer reading activities start the week of June 6th. You do not need to agree to be present at all activities to sign up for activities - just attend when you can!
This year you can keep track of how many minutes you are reading, how many books you read or how many days you read at least 15 minutes. This is for all ages from babies - adults. [For children 0-5 the same books can be counted for summer reading and 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.]
After signing up on-line or in person, our program director will email you on the next business day to send you the link to the ReaderZone App for the program you selected. There is also the option of a paper reading log, in the form of a weekly bookmark.
A downloadable form will be posted here on May 31.
High School students and adults also have the option to do our Summer Program for Adults Reading Kids Stuff, or SPARKS for short. This can be tracked through ReaderZone or a paper version.
