Note: we are changing the order of our themes a bit, so that books fitting the theme will be more readily available on-line during the months when the Library is closed.
January: Reader’s choice – read any 2 books. (You, the reader, are from Illinois)
February: Read a nonfiction book about a person who has lived in Illinois.
March: Read a book by an IL Author that was written before 1970.
April: Read a book by an IL Author that was written after 1970.
May: Read a book by a female IL Author.
June: Read 2 children’s books that were written by an IL author or that take place in Illinois.
July: Read a YA or Juv book by an IL
author or that takes place in Illinois.
August: Read a fiction book set in Illinois.
September: Read a nonfiction book about Illinois History.
October: Read a book with a local (Adams, Hancock, or McDonough County) connection.
November: Read a book by a male IL Author.
December: Reader’s Choice – read any 1 book (does not need to be by an Il Author or about IL.)
